Nagano Prefecture Tourism Promotion & Business Meeting

On November 1, we co-hosted a seminar and reception "Nagano Prefecture Tourism Promotion & Business Meeting" at the official residence of the Consul General. This event aimed to provide information on Nagano Prefecture's tourism attractions and to promote its unique cuisine using locally produced food and sake.
 
The event was joined by approximately 50 people, including tour operators, tourism media and other tourism-related business operators. Consul General Sone gave remarks, followed by Nagano Governor Shuichi Abe who highlighted the beauty of Nagano’s nature and culture. During the seminar, several tourism businesses made presentations introducing long term stay tours that make the most of Nagano’s natural splendor and rich history.
 
At the reception, guests enjoyed a variety of Nagano food specialties from locally produced sake, Shinshu salmon and Shinshu premium wagyu, to Shinshu miso, koji and other fermented products that Nagano is famous for.
