Shochu and Awamori promotional event "Savor JAPANESE CRAFT SPIRITS!"

On February 21, the Consulate General of Japan and JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles held a Shochu and Awamori promotional event, "Savor JAPANESE CRAFT SPIRITS!"   After the seminar on Shochu and Awamori by Toshio Ueno, Japanese Cuisine Goodwill Ambassador, the head bartenders of Death & Co. and Thunderbolt held a workshop on preparing Shochu Highball drinks and a class on cocktails. Naoto Yonezawa, founder of Kuramoto Ice, also introduced high quality cut ice from Japan known to enhance the cocktail experience. People from food & drink industry and influencers joined the event and enjoyed the world of Shochu and Awamori firsthand.
