JX’23 Launch at the Grammy Museum
2023/3/2
JX’23 held its launch event to celebrate Japanese innovators in entertainment, and to honor groundbreaking leaders in music, animation, entertainment, and Web3, at the legendary GRAMMY Museum on February 9, 2023. With over 200 attendees, the event was co-hosted by the LA Next Generation Japanese American Leaders Initiative and the CGJLA with the support of JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles. The event included panel discussions and a performance by world-renowned Japanese musician MIYAVI.
JX presented the Global Achievement Award to ONE OK ROCK and its Culture Impact Award in Film to STUDIO CHIZU. As a leading innovator in Web3, the need for Japanese content signifies the crossover of entertainment and culture from Japan to the world. This will mark the first of events created to set the stage for future collaborations and position JX as the bridge between the U.S. and Japan, to connect and amplify the impact of innovations to the broader U.S. and global audience.
JX’23 panelists included: Vice President Yasu Kutami of AMUSE GROUP USA (Web3), CEO Yusuke Nakagawa of ASOBISYSTEM (Music), Producer/CEO Yuichiro Saito of STUDIO CHIZU (Animation), and CEO Moto Tani of Animoca Brands Japan (Web3).
