Reception for Academy Award Nominees

On March 14, 2026, the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles hosted a celebratory reception at the Consul General’s Official Residence to honor the film “Kokuhō,” which was nominated for the 98th Academy Awards for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, and to foster community building within the Japanese and American film industries.
