Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce & Japanese Business Association 26th Annual Grand Mixer

On November 20, Consul General Kosei Murota gave opening remarks at the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) & Japan Business Association of Southern California (JBA) 26th Annual Grand Mixer held at the Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Torrance. He expressed his appreciation for the support from City of Torrance and the Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce for Japanese companies and looked forward to Japanese companies growing further together with the community.
 
Following opening remarks, the event kicked off with a sake barrel breaking ceremony with several representatives, including George Chen (Mayor, City of Torrance), Shinichi Fujinami (President, JBA), Donna Duperron (President & CEO, TACC), and Consul General Kosei Murota. After the ceremony, JBA, TACC, and community members had an opportunity to network and build meaningful cross-cultural relationships.
 
This milestone event celebrates 26 years of collaboration between TACC and JBA, highlighting their shared commitment to fostering business connections and cultural exchange between Southern California and Japanese companies. JBA is the largest Japanese business organization in Southern California and has fostered business connections with the community for over 60 years.
