KAKEHASHI - LA Latin American Young Leaders Delegation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan sponsored three Latin American young leaders nominated by the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce on a visit to Japan from October 21-28 through the KAKEHASHI Project. The delegation visited Tokyo and the Kansai region to learn about Japanese traditional culture and contemporary society.
The delegation members included Alejandra Acosta, Diego Andrades, and Matthew Sanchez.
KAKEHASHI PROJECT
Initiated by former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and administered through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the project aims to promote people-to-people exchanges between Japan and North America and to promote mutual trust and understanding to build a basis for future friendship and cooperation and to encourage further understanding of Japan.
