Assumption of Post Reception for Consul General Kosei Murota

The Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles held the assumption of post reception for Consul General Kosei Murota on October 17 at the official residence. Guests included elected officials, government representatives, and community members with ties to Japan. U.S. Congressman Mark Takano and California State Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas were among the attendees.
Consul General Murota delivered remarks and Mayor George Chen and Councilmember Jon Kaji of the City of Torrance presented a special commendation. Founding Chair of the U.S.-Japan Council, Mr. Tom Iino, offered the toast.
