Mutsu Experience Showcase in L.A.

On October 17, Consul General Sone participated and gave opening remarks at “Mutsu Experience Showcase in L.A.”, a food and tourism promotion event held at Japan House Los Angeles.
In his opening remarks, Consul General Sone mentioned he would like to help promote Mutsu City's food exports and tourism, especially through the efforts of the “U.S. Export Support Platform” and the “U.S.-Japan Tourism Exchange Year 2024”.
At the event, Mutsu City Mayor Yamamoto and others introduced Mutsu City's sightseeing spots, proposed an experiential travel plan, and showed videos highlighting the specialties of the Shimokita Peninsula, where Mutsu City is located. During the event, participants enjoyed several food specialties from Mutsu City including seafood products and local sake.
