Lieutenant Governor of California Eleni Kounalakis Visit to the Official Residence of Consul General Muto

On Feb. 2, Lieutenant Governor of California Eleni Kounalakis visited the official residence of Consul General Muto to discuss prospects of furthering Japan-California relations for economic activities in particular both region’s cooperation toward decarbonizing the Port of Los Angeles. Along with the discussions, Ms. KAIFU Yuko, President of JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles, took the opportunity to present on the organization’s work and activities in fostering awareness and appreciation for Japan in the U.S.
