San Bernardino County’s “Growing Global Partnerships” Roundtable with Japanese companies

On November 28th, the Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles and JETRO Los Angeles hosted a “Growing Global Partnerships” roundtable with San Bernardino County and Japanese companies. As San Bernardino County is planning to send a delegation to Japan in April 2023, the roundtable became a great opportunity to commence the communication between the County’s officials and Japanese private companies that may be interested in expanding business in the County.
Curt Hagman, Chairman and Fourth District Supervisor of San Bernardino County, in his speech emphasized the strength of San Bernardino as the nation’s leading logistics, warehouse and distribution market, as well as the importance of Japanese companies’ contributions in the area. Consul General Sone also gave remarks to highlight the significance of Japanese economic activities in San Bernardino County, and importance of supply chain resilience and further Japan-US cooperation.
