Japan's Emergency Overseas Assistance  
ODA In Japan's commitment to help reduce global poverty and promote human security and sustainable development, disaster prevention and relief is important.  In November, Ghana, Costa Rica, the Caribbean, Indonesia, and Thailand received asssistance. A disaster relief team was dispatched to Indonesia in response to the volcanic eruption.
