The Japanese American Bar Association (JABA) hosts a free Legal Clinic on June 29, 2013 (Saturday) at Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, 1102 Crenshaw Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90019. Registration time is between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Attendees in need of legal assistance will be able to meet with volunteer attorneys for brief consultations. Attorneys typically have expertise in areas such as family law, immigration, consumer rights, landlord/tenant, estate planning, and contract disputes. Translators will be available to assist Japanese-speaking attendees. This event is co-sponsored by Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles and Asian Pacific American Legal Center, and in cooperation with the Japanese Consulate General’s Office.
