San Diego Events of the U.S.-Japan Security Treaty 50th Anniversary 
Navy Region Southwest and the Japanese and Japanese American communities will hold a series of events June 25 - 26 in San Diego to mark the 50th anniversary of the signing of the US-Japan Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security.  Events include a special ceremony at the USS Midway Museum, a Beer and Sake Festival, and a Japanese American Community Day. 

Joining forces to bring electric cars and electric car- related employment to California,  Toyota and Tesla announced their partnership in the manufacturing of this increasingly promising green transportation mode on May 20.
