Educational Opportunities in Japan

Introduction

Studying abroad has long been a way to broaden personal horizons. Now, both the variety and the quantity of educational and exchange opportunities are expanding. Excellent options exist for studying in Japan for all ages and for all language abilities.

The purpose of this page is to both provide specific information to those who have chosen to study in Japan and general information to guide those who are just starting their study away research.

It is also our hope to encourage study in Japan. Students become "junior ambassadors" when they study abroad. Both Japanese and American students, realizing their nations' decidedly intertwined futures, can impart as much knowledge about their own countries - through their personal contacts - as they can gain from attending school. Whether this "junior ambassadorship" is an official part of the student痴 program or whether it is a personal aim, the educational experience that includes this goal can be extremely valuable for both the student and for society at large.
